The Common Symptoms of PKD

1.Kidney area painful. Pain in renal region is an important symptom of APKD, the pains include oppressing sensation, dull pain or sharp pain in lower back, sometimes it can be abdominal pain caused from viscera lesions in enterocoelia. The pain will be worse after physical labor or long sitting. Renal hemorrhage and stone movement are also causes for acute pain.

5.Polycystic liver. About half of the middle-age APKD patients develop polycystic liver, it is a relatively slowly-progressing disease than polycystic kidney. Besides, the cysts can occur in pancreas or ovary.

6.Kidney dysfunction.APKD patients will develop kidney dysfunction finally without early treatment, the kidney dysfunction usually occurs after 40, the decrease of kidney function will be greatly affected by factors like blood pressure, infections or obstructions.

APKD patients are easily to develop hypertension and urinary tract infections, especially for females, if it induced the nephropyelitis or cyst infections, patients will come across worse pain, fever, hematuria and pyuria, or even lead to urinary tract septicemia, so APKD patients should receive proper treatment to restrain and reduce the cysts from growing, meanwhile preventing complications of high blood pressure, urinary tract infection, and stone, to guarantee themselves normal lifetime.
